Metro Cabana Rules

We are asking that rules/guidelines be discussed with your child and their guests before arriving at the event. Please ensure that guests who are not members of Jack and Jill are familiar with the name of the member’s chapter and chaperone(s).

The Jack and Jill Teen Code of Ethics will be enforced and violations will result in disciplinary action, including possible removal from the event.

We also ask the following guidelines be followed:

Dress Code

Dress to impress! No Hoodies, No Hats.

Dance Code

The dance floor will be closely monitored by chaperones. We want everyone to have fun and be safe. No twerking or overtly explicit dance moves will be allowed.

Chaperones/Guardians

Chaperones/Guardians must remain near the premises for the entire duration of the dance and MUST be reachable on their cell phones. Please check in at the hospitality desk upon arrival to confirm your contact information in case of emergency.

Metropolitan Chapter volunteers will be on site to make sure the children have a great time, follow The Jack and Jill Code of Ethics, and behave in a safe manner.

Please remind your children to show all of the chaperones and volunteers the appropriate level of respect, and let them know that they are there to help.

Ticketing

No tickets will be sold at the door. We will leverage Eventbrite to process ticket payment and delivery. Each chapter will be responsible for ensuring that their tickets are purchased before the purchase link closes. We will send an invitation through Eventbrite to the Programming Directors (PD) based on the order in which the ticket survey is completed. Tickets can be purchased individually or all together based on PD and chapter preference, but the number of tickets available will be based on the number of tickets requested and committed to via the survey.

To ensure that all Jack and Jill members have the first opportunity to attend, the guest ticket allocation may be limited and will be communicated once all Jack and Jill teens who want to attend have been confirmed.

All tickets sales will be final. There are no refunds and tickets are only transferable within your chapter.
